Meet The Founder

Greetings,

I’m Tonya Schumacher, founder of Golden Light Pathways, an LLC devoted to creating a more compassionate, sustainable, and connected world for people, animals, and the Earth. This vision emerged naturally through years of listening, learning, and allowing the quiet guidance of my inner voice to lead the way.

Growing up in a small Wisconsin town, I learned early on the value of kindness, community, and perseverance. Like many, I faced moments of challenge and loss that shaped my understanding of resilience and deepened my empathy for others. Those experiences became stepping stones toward a greater awareness of how we can all live with more peace, authenticity, and balance.

Through this unfolding, I discovered a calling — to support others in reconnecting with themselves, with one another, and with the natural world. Golden Light Pathways was created as a heart-centered expression of that calling: a sanctuary for conscious living, creative collaboration, and compassionate action.

Alongside this work, I also founded Pathway to a Brighter Future LLC, a creative platform where I share my books, teachings, and digital expressions focused on inner growth, mindfulness, and positive change from within.

My journey has blended service, leadership, and self-realization in meaningful ways. While going back to college to change careers from 2009–2016, I led my local Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to national recognition as Chapter President, and later served as President of the Business Professionals of America at both state and local levels, earning multiple awards, including the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Yet, the most valuable lessons didn’t come from titles or recognition—they came from walking through life’s challenges and learning to live with an open heart.

Today, I live in alignment with what I call a life of presence and purpose—one guided by love, truth, freedom, and compassion. My work isn’t about saving or fixing others, but about inspiring remembrance: helping people rediscover their inner wisdom, strength, and light. I don’t see myself above anyone; I walk this path beside others, as a fellow traveler dedicated to love, compassion, authenticity, and service.

Each person who joins this vision brings their own light and sovereignty. Golden Light Pathways is about co-creation, not hierarchy—a living sanctuary where love,  compassion, joy, and truth naturally flourish. It’s a space to laugh, grow, and simply be. A place where people, animals, and nature thrive together in harmony—and where every soul is reminded of their worth, their purpose, and their power to shine.
